Our valued client was looking for an innovative solution to increase site traffi c, external links and social exposure.

Challenge:

Provide an interactive, engaging, cost effi cient and consumerresonating experience for the customer. iProspect delivered a viral experience which would encourage users to share their excitement for the brand while helping our valued client keep their overall marketing costs on this initiative to a minimum.

Strategy:

  • Understanding the need to work within the client’s current content management system, iProspect identifi ed Polyvore (www.polyvore.com), a site which offers a ‘mini-editor’ widget with no associated costs
  • Create branded widget allowing users to build collages or “inspiration boards” around themes, brands, trends, and personal style. Users can select items from anywhere on the web and add the item to create rooms or inspiration boards of their favorite items
  • Populate best selling products as well as items from new collections
  • Feature the editor widget on the home page for 2 weeks; increasing engagement and product exposure
  • Encourage consumer to share their designs on Facebook, Twitter, Blogger or Tumblr for increased social exposure
  • Earned media exposure through mention by bloggers, social media accounts, and press releases announcing this new feature
